Captain blackboard it was to replace a splintered skull smashed in a fall on pavement edging, so now he will have a proper shaped head,
Thanks all now we can try getting him to walk lol
hittig the pavement edge he was very lucky, now that the skull has been repaired , the brains motor skills and phycological functions may well improve,
i used to do a bit of brain surgery after my bricklayers apprenticeship, lol
Pyshologically he'll always have problems, you have 8 lobes in brain, one of his,the personality one, is gone smashed out, 4 are damaged but hopefully can repair after about 4 years according to neuro last week, he's 15 months in so hopefully only 3 years 9 months to go lol
the thing is euro, even the specialists dont know what will happen,
my auntie, had a massive brain hemmorage and she turned out absolutely fine,
i had my personality bit smashed in and it didnt do me no harm,lol
Oh don't for the first 24 hours the doctors and police thought someone had used an axe on his head, just thinking someone had done that gave me nightmares, but cctv confirmed fall off bike onto pavement edge
just shws how everyones life has changed around in a second by a simple accident,
we are actually very fragile creatures, mostly,
but totally resilient to bounce back euro,
Oh I will and knowing as he's back in liverpool my mum can visit him, she can't travel to the brain rehab too far for her, he's going to be so happy tomorrow to see her emotional. Now bed for me, releived lol goodnight
