Just having watched The Da Vinci Code for the second or third time and don't know if it was my frame of mind or whether it was the music, but I found, especially the final scenes, it very emotional. The whole film music touched on spiritual sounds and evoked thoughts of cathedrals and cloaks.

Have you ever found the music to a film you've seen really add to your viewing of it? if so, in what way?

Yes! Try watching Jaws without the film score, and Halloween, its nothing, the film scores really make it that experience.

The best film score to any TV show I've ever seen has to be Game of Thrones,

It has won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition, two ASCAP Awards and was nominated for a Grammy. In fact, it is so popular that producers decided to create a Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience, which toured the US, UK and Canada a few years ago.

I'll give you an example of some live snippets..

I've got a selection of John Williams's iconic big movie scores on a Spotify mix.
When you hear the first few bars of his main themes you're almost instantly transported to the film e.g. Jaws, Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones, ET, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, to name a few of his biggies.
