As mayor, he's alright because there is probably an underground bunker or retired / redundant tube station deep, deep under the Capital to enable the mayor to stay safe and continue business during or after a nuclear attack.

I doubt many Londoners will be so lucky though. :(

Elon Musk is going to takeover control of keeping the I.S.S in orbit

Following sanctions from the U.S.A, Dmitry Olegovich Rogozin, Russia's space space director threatened, "If you block cooperation with us, who will save the ISS (International Space Station) from an uncontrolled deorbit and fall into the United States and Europe?"

Without regular boosts upwards to keep it orbiting safely, it'll fall anywhere on Earth and the Russian's had threatened to just abandon it BUT Space X can easily takeover that role each time they send up their own supply module to the ISS.

I imagine London still has bomb shelters left over from WW2, plus nuclear shelters and the tube. Do we still have sirens? I don't think there are any bomb shelters here, we might have to take to the old slate mines in Snowdonia?

Despite the Russian regime blocking news and not even running Ukraine related stories in their own press, the world's action in switching Russia off so comprehensively with sanctions serves the wonderful purpose of enlightening everyday decent Russians that there is something very strange going on to the point that Putin just won't be able to keep his actions and war crimes from being discussed and seen in Russia proper, no matter how hard he tries to censor the news and the truth.

That's a VERY pertinent question, H, because grotesquely, both sides, (East and West), are bound by the dollar in as much as DAILY gas exports from Russia are worth around $800 million which helps fund Putins war while the gas, itself, props up the West's energy needs.
