If you are artistically inclined it is a good channel.

It depends what you define as good. I've watched quite a few things on there now including the acclaimed Graceland gig.

Some is reminiscent of the college drama class.

If you like watching live recordings of music it is good. There are all sorts of other types of "Arts" included. Books, Art & Artists of the painting variety, "One Off's" on a particular person or performer. Good one last night was about Frankie Howerd.

Channel 11 on "Freeview".

We have so many free channels I've never looked through them all. At a glance I think there are over 60 channels available which I haven't looked a so I'm sure I'm missing out on something really good LOLOL.
I didnt know Sky arts was on Freeview either and just assumed it was only on Sky.

I've had Freeview for years but didnt know it had Sky arts.

It only hit Freeview September 2020 so it's not been on there for years.

But it's always worth doing a regular Freeview auto scan as they're constantly adding new channels (and reallocating others to new numbers).

Thanks TBA that explains a lot and I do think my channels need updating.

As there are too many adverts on most of the channels (apart from BBC channels), I prefer to record the programmes.

So each morning, I do a quick scan to see if there is anything worth recording. I normally use these two links:

Complete guide to Freeview channels link provided by Freeview plus it gives details about the transmitters and online/phone help if you have problems with the reception.

Guide to all the films on TV

I've seen a lot of advertisements for this channel.

So have I. Sky aren't short of a few Bob for their advertising budget.

I can't say any of the adverts and trailers have enticed me into watching it.

It has a few good programmes so well with keeping an eye on what's on.

I've tried watching a few things on it but sadly I'm not appreciative enough of the arts. Not quite a heathen though lol.

I think quite a few are the same way tsunamiwarrior but they don't always want to admit it.
