Best, most interesting, fantastic, never to be forgotten date (after brief meeting at Morrisons car park to make sure he had the tickets) was Giselle at the ROH. We did the full works with dinner at the interval. His first ballet, and he loved it.

Drag her on the walk I'm doing - well, not literally 'drag' her.

The one I remember was down in Somerset, went for a drive 'round Wookey Hole area then up the M5 to Huntingford area for a pint and a meal....nothing interesting I'm afraid.

"What would you do on a first date if it was happening tomorrow."

Eh... probably a walk in a park or a drive somewhere. Then back to one of our houses for a coffee and a piece.

Maybe even a shagging session too, who would know!

I took a first date to a beach where they were doing bungie jumps and made out I'd booked us both in to jump from the very high crane. She was not amused when she found out I was joking.

I've had many interesting dates including a couple from this site. First dates are best kept short in case they don't work out.

On a first date halfway through the first drink in a pub he said we both know this isnt working and he walked out. I stayed and finished my drink before leaving.

A lot of people must be chatting online while they are sitting at home. When we are free to meet again there will be a lot of first dates.

I wouldn't mind being treated to a taxi to London and a meal in the First Dates restaurant and I do like Fred who is as charming as anyone I have seen but I wouldn't want to do so with television cameras watching me.

I don't feel comfortable eating in front of a first date and can't think of many things worse than eating in front of millions.

A few years ago I had been to St Pauls Cathedral with a friend and we wandered across the bridge and she recognised the restaurant as being on the television series First Dates. Just being nosey I popped my head inside the door to have a look and we decided to have our lunch there.
A fairly average restaurant by London standards and the staff were not the ones seen on tv but it was very pleasant. I wouldn't want to appear on the series .. I don't mind eating in public but I don't want my conversations when meeting for the first time to be recorded. I think I would get tongue tied thinking about what I should say and everyone would hear my corny chat up lines.
It's name is Paternoster Chop House.

I don't what he's got but everyone seems to find him charming. I might check him out for a few tips.

One always suggests a first meet in a local cemetery. Then at the very least, if the date is not a success, we won't have far to go.
