One weekend, after getting home from a night out, J and I had just got cosy and relaxed in bed when I heard something horrible.

It was a fat frog jumping around the bedroom at 2am ... brought in by one of the cats.

Eww. Horrible ......

Traumatized me ... and even now, I get the creeps if walking around me wildlife pond of an evening near dusk, in case I were to tread on a frog or toad in the grass. Ha ha.

One of my two cats, and I haven't figured out which, has a bit of a propensity for bringing back clammy hoppy things and leaving them to hop around my house.
I remember coming out of the bathroom at about 2.00 am and in the dark, kicking something with my foot that felt like a pair of my rolled up walking socks. I turned on the light to see the most massive great plump toad looking at me. I assume that it would never have got up a flight of stars unaided, so feline interference must have been involved somewhere along the line.
