£/US $ = 1.6410

On 29 Jul 2019 the Spot Exchange rate (BoE) for
£/€ = 1.0988
£/US $ = 1.2232
These represent a 52 week low in 2018 - 19
from highs of
1.1750 and
1.3336
respectively.

Those of us who can remember when One € cost 66p will have views on this situation.
Bad if one is a retired expat living in, e.g., Spain
Bad for importers from EU +/ USA

Good for exporters of UK made items to EU +/ US/A
Good for € and US $ linked investors wishing to invest in or buy-up British organizations.

Are you optimistic about the decline in the value of the GBP/£ seeing it as a booster for our export trade as we BrExit?
