Warning that unsecured pets could void your car insurance
Almost a quarter of pet owners let a pet sit unrestrained in their car – leaving them unprotected in the event of a claim, according to MoneySuperMarket.
Drivers could also receive a £100 on-the-spot fine if they are seen to be distracted.

My pet Troll travels on the roof rack, secured down with bungee straps.
You can't have him in the car because of the bad breath and BO.

The spider might be able to find a better deal on the web.....
After all these years, I've dusted the cobwebs off the old 'web' line and given it another spin..

I’ve seen some very dangerous behaviour from dogs and owner/drivers. Quite a number of dogs sat on the driver’s lap.
I also have the obligatory spider clinging onto the wing mirror attached to a stronger-than-steel web.

People don't seem to realise what a "missile" any unsecured object can be when a vehicle brakes suddenly.
I've seen some nasty pictures and reports of what loose animals, objects, even babies do to other occupants heads in an impact...

Thanks for that one, Hierophant.
Many will remember the TV Seatbelt Advert from years ago in which, in a crash, a young man was smashed, unsecured, into the back of his Mum's head - killing her.

I hate it when I see a car with the dog poking its head out of the driver’s side window.
We should make seatbelts from cobwebs.
