The complete Pennine Way...have done bits but never the full route.

Stopped smoking...though it's debatable whether that's achievable or not.

But seriously, most of my bucket list has been ticked. One I'd still like to try is put my survival skills to the test on a deserted tropical island for about a month.

Going over to Thailand for a few weeks.

Creating a garden from scratch which I'm doing and designing my own kitchen which is on hold. I quite fancy designing and building my own house too, but I don't think that will happen now and I really like the house we've got now.

A parachute jump.

Visit Vancouver

Visit Manaus, in the Amazon rainforest.

Wouldn't mind a seat on the first commercial space flight.

HBob .. the will thing is easy to do. You can do your own with a pack from WH Smith's. However it is worth getting advice from a solicitor.

As you get out and walk your dog, why don't you consider getting the Couch to 5k app on your phone? You could follow the programme and then be able to tick off at least one thing from your list.

Fall in love; stay in love; and live happily ever after. In theory it should be achievable

Interesting replies..Lets hope we can do some of them at least, before we go...

My elongated thread title would have been much better summed up by 'bucket List'...I need to add 'think of better thread titles' to my 'What achievable things have you never done...but have perhaps wanted to do...' list

I think the problem with 'bucket list' is it implies things we intend to do, whereas the title you chose sums things up nicely, it's a petty definition perhaps but for me quite a good one...I for one like most of your threads so just keep naming them as you want...

My Dad had a bucket menu, when he knew he was terminally ill he decided he was going to eat all the things he fancied, but had never got round to eating, it made shopping trips both fun and a nighmare.
