Well its back and I thought they started off quite well, I loved Danny John Jules, I thought he was really good and Susannah Constantine was every bit as bad as I thought she'd be, I thought Kate SIlverton was good too.
nellieredshoes  Female  West Yorkshire 23-Sep-2018 10:28 Message #4725869
I missed most of it wh as I was unexpectedly invited out for tea but I have it on series record and will catch up with it this evening after the family have all returned home. I’ll definitely check out your critiques.

There's some showing promise ...

Susannah shouldn't be around long!

Graham Swann might have broken the 'good cricketers' reputation but it's early days ...

Already got tickets for the tour and looking forward to it!

So pleased it's back. I really enjoyed it on Saturday - predictably Faye and Ashley were both good, Susannah not good at all! I thought the chap from Casualty was a bit too full of himself, Kate was good but looked a bit awkward - loved Swanny, Stacey and Katie :-)

I thought that to JiveBun, I noticed it on the launch show and how wide he opened his legs, I thought, 'I don't need to see that much trouser gusset!'
Minnie-the-Minx  Female  Hertfordshire 24-Sep-2018 22:43 Message #4725948
Is Susannah one half of the awful stylist duo?

So who do we think will be in the dance off tonight? (No spoilers please). If it was purely on dance then Susannah would go, but Antons fans may want to keep them in. That comedian bloke danced well, but wrongly, I do that, I can get the moves right and everything but none of its in time to the music or anything else. I wasn't impressed with that bloke from Casualty, he looked like he was flinging his partner round the floor and there was to much gapping when he was in hold, he didn't look comfortable in hold either, I think he's a bit of a diva.

I enjoyed Kate Silverton, a very sexy tango, she may not hav all the steps yet, but she really delivers and Danny John Jules is incredible.

Silly me, I went and missed it. Will have to do catch up.
wonderoushen  Female  Gwynedd 1-Oct-2018 11:31 Message #4726234
Well at least the right person went.
alliez  Female  West Yorkshire 1-Oct-2018 20:17 Message #4726264
So glad about the result ...

Enjoyed Kate's tango, Faye's Viennese waltz and Vick Hope's waltz ...

That must be a record, Anton out in the first week. That says something about how bad she was, if even his fans didn't want to keep him in.
JiveBun  Female  Berkshire 3-Oct-2018 13:40 Message #4726353
Right result for a change!
wonderoushen  Female  Gwynedd 7-Oct-2018 10:33 Message #4726534
Well I think it might be time for Dr Ranj to go or Katie Piper or the paraathlete woman, Charles Venn didn't impress me either, he comes across to me as a bit egotistical, I've noticed that at no point has he thanked Karen for teaching him to dance or even really acknowleged her.

I loved Kate SIlverton as Jessica Rabbit, I really like seeing an older woman showing her sensuality without being predatory or ridiculous.

Dirty Dancing was good but last night it was the couple dancing as Sandy and Danny who performed best on the night, the only thing against the show this year is they have no real comedy such as Ann Widdecomme or John Sargent, it may get too serious without their like.
wonderoushen  Female  Gwynedd 7-Oct-2018 18:24 Message #4726552
mancers are you serious? Strictly serious, its light entertainmen! To be honest I'm glad theres no no hoper keep getting voted in whilst more talented dancers are voted off.
mancers  Male  Greater Manchester 7-Oct-2018 18:45 Message #4726555
Yes Wh a bit of light entertainment in between the serious stuff, a type of interlude if you like, as it iis s you still have some no hopers in the show so a bit of comedy would not do it any harm, the votes for John Sargeant surely must have proved this, I rest my case.
wonderoushen  Female  Gwynedd 8-Oct-2018 10:40 Message #4726594
Oh well I thought that bloke who got voted off last night was quite good, but that just how it goes.
tumbleweed  Male  Gloucestershire 8-Oct-2018 16:35 Message #4726620
I haven't seen any of this series, but it seems more shagfest is happening, or about to happen. . I have just read about Sean Walsh and his married dancing partner spotted snogging.
mancers  Male  Greater Manchester 8-Oct-2018 18:15 Message #4726627
Looked like full tongues as well tw, reminded me of the good old days. :0)

I saw it as front page news in the Daily Star when I walked past a news stand, don't know how reliable a sourse the Daily Star is though?

Looked like he was licking her sauce Wh.
mancers  Male  Greater Manchester 8-Oct-2018 21:43 Message #4726667
Anyway they have both apologised, we will have to see what harm it’s done to their chances, I don’t think he was a potential winner, so no damage done and more publicity for the show.
wonderoushen  Female  Gwynedd 9-Oct-2018 12:05 Message #4726684
Walsh's partener has left him and done the usual social media thing, saying he's controlling, nothing from Katya, but there are calls for them not to carry on dancing.

Actually I think it must be really difficult to have to be that physically close to someone for hours a day, to have to act out feelings display bits of yourself that you may usually keep private, I'm not surprised that things sometimes boil over.
mancers  Male  Greater Manchester 10-Oct-2018 18:03 Message #4726791
I was thinking that myself Wh, with all that testosterone flying about how do the men hide their todgers especially with the grinding moves, I nearly choked on my cocoa last week.
