The astrological oracle decrees that I should be with a Virgo or a Scorpio.
Now, I'm not into zodiac stuff, though I do find people correspond spookily closely to their sign's declared characteristics. So, in a moment of curiosity before my new first date last week, I Googled Libra, as that's his sign and I don't think I've dated a Libran before.
Perhaps not a good move as it turns out we're the very worst match for each other! Underneath it had symbols like TL (True love) and next to us was NE. On looking up NE, I found it stood for "No Excitement" :(
So have you, would you, should you flout the laws of the zodiac? :) lol:)

Well that's it then, if the star signs don't match, shouldn't waste ya time on him any longer! lol.
No point in prolonging it!
Send the "dear john" text NOW! lol lol ;-}

I read recently that due to the precession of the earth over the last 2 or 3 millennia that most people are being logged as being born under the wrong Zodiac sign anyway!
I think, by now, it's about 3.5 weeks out so, for example, if you su8btract about 25 days (or summat like that) onto your actual birth date then you'll get the real sign you was born under.
And another thing - technically there's now 13 Zodiac signs!
The new one's called Ophiuchus, he Serpent Bearer.
So much for them ancients getting it all wrong!
Jason.

Yeah, I believe in all that $hit.
I also believe Nicole Kidman and Carole Vorderman will come banging on my door demanding a threesome.

I have flouted the laws of the zodiac many times over the years and out of all those mismatches, only one relationship had staying power, even though he wasn't one of my compatible signs.
I have a strict rule nowadays - I avoid Gemini, Virgo and Scorpio.

I've learned never to date my own star sign, I don't know why but it ends feeling an incestuous disaster. One thing I have noticed is that I go through phases where I seem surrounded by those of a particular star sign.

Argo...
"I always thought Swann Vesta were a sign of a good match!"
Maybe they were, but these days we are all advised to 'take precautions'
So perhaps Bryant & May (safety matches) would be a better option! lol ;-}

My 3 partners ( since my husband died 30 years ago) all have exactly the same birthday, which is odd to say the least. My present partners parents have the same birthday as my own parents too... so how strange is that,

What a load of old bow-locks.
I was born on the cusp of 2 signs. Every year the date where one ends & the next starts can vary by a day or even 2.
So in some of the examples above I would be both an "yes" sign & a "no" sign. The so called "characteristics" of each sign are different so you can't be both.

Subtract 25 days and thus be another star sign?
Ah but, Jason, that would still work cos those you would/wouldn't match with would also have moved back a sign. So, as a Cancer and not being a match for my Libran, I'd then be a Gemini, him a Virgo, so we'd be ill-matched just as much under our newly ascribed star signs:)

Yep and if I subtract 25 days, I move into Scorpio territory. Hells bells, I'd have to avoid myself then!

You could be a combination personality, couldn't you?
My twins obviously have the same birthday, and were born only one minute apart, added to which they are born on the cusp so could be Aquarius or Capricorn. One has the characteristics of the former and the other of the latter.
As I said in my OP I don't pay much serious attention to it all, and none to horoscopes, but I find almost always that people do correspond to their sign's characteristics. I often guess what sign someone is, just for fun, when I've got to know someone a bit, and seldom am I wrong, or if I am I'm pretty close.
