I love music most kinds but especially r & b, soul. Enjoy going to the cinema, walking with my dog Mazy, t.v, reading, and photography, all the usual pursuits. I have a good sense of humour (or so I'm told).

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I don't cook as often as I used to but I enjoy it when I do. It's traditional British as I'm not keen on spicy foods like curry etc.
Shopping	Food shopping has to be done. I don't enjoy shopping unless I'm looking for something special. Mostly do online shopping like a lot of us now.
DIY	Something simple I might have a go but prefer someone who knows what they're doing.
Housework	Definitely not a show home but I'm not a slob either. Housework gets done.
Dining out	Yes it's nice to eat out occasionally. A good pub meal suits me. Steak, roast dinner, fish & chips or a chicken salad. Not spicy, just simple tastes.
Movies	A rom-com, good thriller, anything but horror really. Favourite film is Pretty Woman.
Theatre	Don't have a favourite play, I go occasionally.
Music	Love r&b, soul music but also enjoy most other genre's. Luther Vandross is a favourite artist but there are many more, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Adele.
Gigs	Years ago I went to concerts but don't get to go very often these days. More likely to be local venue.
Pubs	Don't mind going to the pub but more likely to have a shandy than a pint of beer. Not much of a drinker.
Clubbing	I like to dance but regular dancing hasn't happened for many years.
Newspapers and magazines	T.v mag and Take a break (like doing puzzles and entering competitions).
Books	Too many books to name, I read all sorts, fiction and non-fiction.
TV	Yes I'm a tv fan unless I have company or somewhere better to be than at home watching. I like soaps and dramas, documentaries etc.
Watching sport	Not a fan of sports. Prefer winter Olympics. I like watching skating, tennis but not football.
Playing sport	Walking with my dog .
Hobbies	Nothing strange or unique.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Retired but enjoying life hopefully with someone special
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	David Attenborough, Luther Vandross, Hugh Jackman.
My ideal date	A nice meal in a country pub, maybe a film afterwards or see a show.
What would I never, ever give up?	My dog. I adore animals and would be lost without my little companion. My daughter looks after her if I am going out or away.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Animal rescue related.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I'd like to live in Canada.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	I would share it between several not RSPCA but smaller rescues and Battersea.
