I'm 56 - but look 10 years younger (I think!), single, and live in the west Suffolk countryside. I'm a dog lover - my current is a 7-year-old labrador.
I am an ex-IT analyst and tutor, now retired, and painting (abstracts) as a hobby. I enjoy literature, rock, jazz and classical music, F1, TV documentaries, current affairs and the arts. I'm intelligent, I think I have a fairly well-developed spiritual side, a dry sense of humour and I'm up for everything from cheeky banter to deep discussions. I'm naturally creative, having written much fiction in my time, but calm - even deep, reliable, caring, supportive and a good listener, having worked with a mental health charity.
My future's secure, my time's my own, so my life seemed all worked out, but recently I've realised there's a void - a woman-shaped void, at the centre of it. She has to be a special woman though; with a smile that lights up the room, eyes I can swim in and a body I can drown in.
So I'm looking for someone to share good times with; for a month, for a year, for ever? Who can tell how life's cards will play out?
Still looking for a soulmate to settle down with; if you're obsessed with soaps, tabloids, reality TV,, don't waste your time here..
I don't go for 'cuddlies' I'm afraid.
Someone happy, chatty, kind, out-going, intelligent, interesting - even challenging; but not dogmatic or narrow-minded; and not too much the party-animal?!
If you're almost none of the above but still like a deep chat then we could be friends?!
