Mr Rusty Male (77) from Kent

Easygoing, stress-free, sociable, funny and serious, enjoy sharing leisure and pleasure. Involved in training, which I love. Adore classical, folk and jazz music - theatre, ballet, motorsport, walking and visiting places of interest. Enjoy Barn Dances and Ceilidhs. Would also love to learn Ballroom Dancing - any offers?
Totally open - no pre-conceived ideas. Could be widening my circle of friends or that explosive chemistry of romance, or somewhere in between. Tactile person would be great, who adores holding hands, cuddles, kisses, tickling, massage and just being close. Someone to talk to about our days. Or just talking.

My favourite quotation:
The future is not some place we are going to, but one we are creating. The paths are not to be found, but made, and the activity of making them changes both the maker and the destination.

Hopes and dreams icon My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself Happy Healthy and Fufilled
Who would I invite to a dinner party? Bertrand Russell
Honor Blackman
Spike Milligan
My ideal date A Walk in the Woods, on the Beach, Watching Sunrise or Sunset.
The Theatre, Opera, Ballet, Concert.
Which one is not important, it is the person that I share them wth.

What would I never, ever give up? Music I really could not live without.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ... Education for every age, for every reason, for work - life - pleasure - leisure and self development
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history Trafalger Square on VE day, catching the mood of the crowd and hearing "Humph" playing in the background. What a day that must have been!
If I had a million pounds to give to charity One that helps people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions to find out about each other. Most people are decent, and understanding removes the pernicious suspicion and hostility that otherwise results from all forms of ignorance.
My "and finally" section ... I can only describe the person I think I am, and I have done that as accurately as I can - but only YOU can decide if this snapshot reflects the real me.
