Hollywhippet (62) from Cornwall

Hi,I had a very pressurised job(in the S/W team-community) and most of my friends are in relationships(which I mostly set up ..talk about shoot myself in the foot!).I recently retired.
I have 2 grown up children who are both doing sooo well and am proud of.A good circle of friends,but all married,want to make new friends to go to 'things' with.I am mad about animals and rescued a lurcher(whippet x pharoah hound)whom I adore.Rescued another brindle lurcher who is really a gentle giant &aRomanian sheepdog.
I am 5'6" average build,green eyes and dark shoulder length hair with blonde/grey streaks.Have a lively if not dry sense of humour,cry at films,am loyal and fairly articulate and eat with a knife and fork!!Told I look like Chrissie Hynde from 'The pretenders'.
I have travelled widely in the past,born in Singapore,lived abroad and find myself in Cornwall which is beautiful but miss the social life.

I also find (she said modestly) that younger men find me attractive.I think it's because I don't act or appear my age.I thought that if I found some new friends and could meet up with no agenda then that rather than looking for the love of my life would be great.
So if you (like me) have a dog and get fed up walking alone..surely that's a start?!
If I happened to stumble over a gorgeous man and his dog,then that would be a bonus!
I’m 65 now not 61!!
