Have 5 beautiful pussy cats whom I love to pieces and couldn't be without.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Sometimes. Not very good at following recipes though. Pastries, cakes, chocolates, traditional foods like roasts.. anything fattening really.
Shopping	LOVE it, but not food shopping.
DIY	Quite good really, will have a go at most things.
Housework	Hate housework but do like the place to look tidy so it does get done (sometimes). I really enjoy cleaning out cupboards and throwing things away. Always feel so good afterwards!
Dining out	oh yes, anything to do with food. Being Coeliac though it's hard to find places suitable to eat out now, though a curry is usually ok and very acceptable.
Movies	Yes, enjoy varied films especially sci-fi and horror but can't stand "action thrillers".
Theatre	Another yes. Enjoy most things from comedies to Shakespeare.
Music	Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Vangelis are the faves but like most things really except jazz, and not over keen on country. Enjoy the highlights of opera and classics.
Gigs	Love any kind of live music.
Pubs	Sometimes, preferably with a group.
Clubbing	Not any more sadly.
Newspapers and magazines	Yes, yes and yes. Love newspapers and all sorts of magazines from gossip to Country Life.
Books	Biographies and historical are my favourites, but I do enjoy fiction as well, though not romantic fiction. My favourite novelist is Barbara Erskine whose novels are set in some of the places in Britain I love best, like the remote Essex coastline.
TV	Ok sometimes, programmes like NCIS, SVU, and documentaries. Definitely not soaps.
Watching sport	No, not a sport lover, except for Wimbledon fornight.
Playing sport	My poor old joints can't take it now but I used to enjoy running.
Hobbies	Collecting cats! Complementary therapies, the paranormal and anything pyschic/spooky. History and historical places. Talking non-stop.
