Oradour sur Glane

A village, just outside of Limoges, in the Limousin region of France, that has been left, just as it was found, as a memorial to the 642 people who were massacred there by the Nazis just before the end of the war. This massacre was not a moment of war induced madness, but an operation that was well planned, and executed with Nazi thoroughness.
