Just a bit of fun wonderoushen, something I heard on a radio comedy show last night.

And I suppose with men who have 'had the op' and become a woman - and vices verses - you are not going to be able to tell the difference between mums or dads.

And soon we wont be able to call anyone mum or dad because that is sexist - so will it be "him indoors" or what ???

(Political Correctness in the extreme ? . . .)

From what I have seen parents swopping the traditional roles hasn't often worked out.

That’s a laugh. Mine at the time did not seem to take any notice of his children. It was always me to take them out, buy presents. Sort out their birthday parties etc.
My Dad was the same

I think what Terry is trying to say is that do you think Men make better mums and women make better fathers

I think it all depends on the individual.

Some Fathers are crap and some Mothers also are crap maybe those people should swop roles as they might be better parents then

I think the questions a bit meaningless to be honest, people care fo thier children or they don't.

You're right wonderoushen, I made the mistake of not adding that it was supposed to be a lighthearted question, not a serious argumentative one. The programme I heard it on came up with a lot of humorous comments, the usual stuff about men and women plus how kids rarely react in a way we expect.

Still, the thread helped break us away from the usual topics for a while.
