Even woolly mammoth have enough sense to know the difference between climate change and air quality. We must take care of our air quality while the weather sorts out our climate.

I dont think it was entirely due to previous climate change. I think Humans contributed to their extinction by hunting.

We didn't have a heatwave, the temperature was in the low twenties until it clouded over and got windy by mid afternoon and then it rained, it still can't make up its mind if its going to carry on raining.

It reached 34 here in Peterborough. Sat outside with a few drinks and our feet in a paddling pool - lush

If they would only stop decimating the rain forests,

but they wont for the reasons of making money producing palm oil and soya

Supreme Leader, KIm,
You no get it.
One day do not make heatwave or mean crimate change no happen.
It year on year, over decades figures.
And Engrand 1.4 °c warmer on average over last 20 years than previous 40 years before that.

Crimate change do happen all time, & the pranet can rook after itself with that (been doing it for 4.5 birrion years)
But it don't know what to do because "Mans" influence is messing up barance.

You are pyss taker SG?
You been to University of East Anglia?
I not talk (type) like that, my English good.
Must remember Earth start off much hotter than it is now, with air full of CO2, and very little oxygen.

It was volcanic, make mans pollution look like drop in bucket.
Climate change happen whatever man do.
40 years is too small to measure change.
Only in political matters, remember 40 years since last Labour government!

Comments by Zodiac1.
Plant life in general is so important, so if climate change happen?
Plants would already be protected, no government do that in significant measure.

Where you go diving?

If the UK was in charge of the rain forests then we could make a difference but I cannot believe the tiny changes we make to our lives will make a significant difference to climate change. It could help us breathe in cleaner air though.

We have other things that are just as important as rainforests, such as peat bogs and heathlands, they're all carbon sinks as well as habitats for now rare creatures. I think we can do things that make a change and a difference, yes we need action on an international level, but that dosen't absolve us We elect the politicians that make national policy and help to create international policy. We can choose what and how we eat, not eating industrially farmed meat, which rips up rain forest, causes high carbon emissions and habitat loss, we can choose not to eat or use products with palm oil for the same reasons. We can choose to use no dig methods in our gardens which keeps carbon in the soil and help creatures who live in and around our gardens. We can choose how we use water, we can choose to have paving that allows water to drain away and helps prevent flooding.

We can choose to live lightly on the earth, its not always easy, but it is possible, it requires changing our habits and being concious of what we do and why we do it.

It used to be save the trees, hug a tree. Trees grow all over the place I keep having to remove those stray shoots that grow enormous and pop up in the garden regularly.

I think the sun, sun flares, has a lot to do with temp. and climate change.

It's obvious why it's getting warmer, nothing to do with cutting down trees, or using wrong chemicals, or burning wrong fuels ect.

It's down to the fact that ...
We are still COMING OUT of the last ICE AGE!!
(It doesn't happen overnight, y'know!)

lol ;-)
