I, m off to monkey forest in Trentham Gardens today with my little monkeys (grandkids) lol
We do seem to describe humans as animals a lot, lol sheep, monkeys, etc as in
Sly as as snake
Cuddly like a bear
Lazy as a sloth
Desribe yourself as an animal or anyone else lol

A cat, I like being curled up, I sometimes like to lie on my back and wave my paws in the air, but woe betide anyone who takes that as an invitation to tickle my tummy.

Humans are animals, mammals, but because humans think they are all free thinkers, they free think themselves superior and of more value.

Interesting that your grandkids are little monkeys, because that is exactly what they are, and don't you think some humans have an uncanny likeness to some other animal species?

There are some humans who apparently, choose a dog breed that looks like themselves, or at least admire a breed as attractive because it reflects some of their own features when they look in the mirror.

I'm not sure what other animal I am most like.

I'll be a sheep. Someone has to choose this option. We cannot all be free thinkers.

Or am I still a monkey?

Not an obvious choice but .. a scorpion. It's my star sign and I have been told many times it suits me.

Not sure if that is good or bad but I quite like scorpions.

I'm not sure that I look like a greyhound, I'm not quite lithe enough, but a baggy old puss is probably about right, I guess my hair could even be reffered to as tabby, well it sounds better than going grey anyway, lol.

It's sly as a fox. Though I don't know why fox are called sly. Poisonous as a snake?

I like cats. Though I don't like lions much. The lynx, clouded leopard, maybe come back as one of them in a second life. Snow leopard and l-u-r-v-e the Pallas cat, he is just … beyond words.

Are snakes poisonous? Would you ingest one to find out?

I was once a social butterfly, now I am a workhorse, cos I have decided that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.

There are many times I feel like a camel with a load of straw on my back and one more straw will break my back.

Talking of animals. Have you seen the dog on the AA advertisement? Very clever.
