Beautiful sunny day going to waste out there. Where should we be going? What's the order of the day once we're there?

Just a bit of fun to have a mental holiday from the four walls at home.

Whisk me away!!

A lovely walk round the RSPB estuary at Conwy.
I don't know much about birds but love watching herring gull partners take turns in the splash.

I've just been to Ilfracombe........via the Ilfracombe Bay webcam.......It was really nice...

There's a few people wandering about the harbour.....but not many....

I might go somewhere else now.....

Apparently there are a lot of virtual reality websites now free to visit.

Even online games, according to my son, include authentic places.
He has visited the streets of Washington and would know his way around.

I'm currently sitting beside Lord Byron's gravestone watching squirrels playing in the churchyard amongst all the new flowers. Very soothing.

My fantasy day out is a picnic at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield with a fancy picnic and freshly pressed apple juice.

Conwy is lovely. Can't be too long now before we'll be allowed to travel for exercise.

Mumsie - Our park's gates have been locked for a couple of weeks already due to idiot children congregating and setting fires for fun.

Don't hold your breath, RC.
I fear at least another 2 weeker, maybe a 3 weeker or maybe 2 x 2 weeker.
The 3 weeker would end at the start of the week for the rearranged May Bank Holiday for VE Day.
So they might not want everyone gathering so soon after for mass parties.

As the great man said
Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Hello Rosey, when we get permission to go out again I can certainly recommend the Yorkshire Sculpture Park,it's only about 20 minutes from where I live and I've been there quite a few times on a weekend.

another bonfire to get rid of more fallen trees - now we have been advised not to have any more as will affect people with respiratory problems. We did it for most of the day too. No close neighbours either

Ones own personal location is utterly beautiful. Especially in such times as to exclude the necessity of accidentally meeting other people on a morning, afternoon or evening constitutional. Birdsong, the wind on the bough, and gurgle of the river, the only audible sounds. With such a beautiful soundtrack, one can immerse the soul and cleanse the mind. Even to the point of wearing a kimono or beads. Or perhaps not. When one glances at ones reflection in a large puddle.
