Do you find it difficult to know what to buy as presents?

Your mentioning that "c" word again....too early Mike !!

When I was younger I had to start buying from January sales , my family was huge and I still bought for mum and dad.
Now everyone has grown up and we have a rule of no presents for over 18s.
I have a 2 year old granddaughter who I did buy for last year, but TBH the amount of presents she got was obscene, so this year I will be putting money into her account. Impersonal I know but she had more outfits/ toys that I felt ashamed when others have so little.
However I do still buy for my son.
He is currently having tattoos done so I will get vouchers for that.

When I did buy presents they were always person centred, not an afterthought.

I will give my son, daughter and husband an early Christmas present as in the next few months they are having to spend money on expensive vet bills. Poor old Huxley has something wrong with his hindleg. He had an X ray - bones are o.k. , but blood-test showed kidneys are weak
Daughter feels very guilty about that as Huxley managed to eat an ( yet undecorated ) Christmas cake last year . She took him to the vet as to empty his stomach as soon as it was discovered where the cake was gone . Dried fruit is very bad for dogs and can damage kidneys.
