Public shows of affection

Ahhh or eerh !!

Some people of varying ages seem to enjoy public shows of affection.
What are your thoughts ?
Do you think it appropriate or is it something you think should be kept behind closed doors ?

Depends. Holding hands, having a cuddle, or a little peck; what's wrong with that?
Full on tongue hockey in public is pretty cringeworthy. Especially if you are over the age of 16.

In public the woman should always walk a few paces behind the man, and definitely no hand holding.
Seeing two attractive women kissing is always a pleasant delight though...

When love is true you wont care where you show it ...

I am a grandparent without false teeth but personally I would not be necking in public but I cant see any thing wrong with holding hands or giving my partner a quick kiss in public

I'm not a grandparent and I have 5 implants. Will I still get kissed?
Female
leogirl  Female  Essex 3-Nov-2019 15:25 Message #4761365
Let me know how you fare Minnie . I spend a small fortune on implants to avoid false teeth - but received not one single passionate kiss.
I always get a bit sentimental when I see older people sharing genuine affection I think " good for you ! " and almost wink !

As mentioned above, small shows of affection are fine with me. Snogging, groping and dry humping..... No! Go home and get stuck in properly!

Having said that, when animalistic passion/lust take over you, sometimes waiting to get home can be impossible hehehehe

I agree with leogirl, I think it's sweet seeing older people holding hands and having a peck on the cheek.

I personally enjoy holding hands, linking arms /arms around waist and a peck on the cheek.

Anything else, whatever age...
Get a room !!

As Norah Batty might say, the first night of the honeymoon is for affection, after that the bloke does as he's told and that's enough affection for him! :-)

What Minnie, Nellie, wonderoushen and PNG said.

Holding hands at any age is a wonderful sign of affection that I thoroughly approve off. Anything more in public than a hug and a quick kiss on the lips starts to enter the yuk zone

I was going down an escalator in a London Tube Station when I saw a couple on the escalator going up with the guy twiddling the bare uncovered nipple of his girlfriend. Obviously many people noticed, then one wit shouted out, "Oi, twiddle the other one and you'll get Radio 5" :):)

I dated a guy who was very affectionate in public and it could be embarrassing so I told him to stop!

As long as one doesn't have to throw a bucket of cold water over them. One imagines the rest is fine.

Some might say you should go with your own emotions and sod everyone else. Seeing any couple having a public snog isn’t going to be too traumatic or life-changing.
