So proroging parliament

may not be legal after all

According to the highest court in Scotland the government has tried to stymie parliament in its work and many MP's are protesting and want to get working again, the whole thing will be decided once and for all by the UK Supreme Court on tuesday.

I think this is going to be a big constitutional clash because our constitution is so archaic and unwritten, we need a proper written consitution as soon as posible

Scottish law is entirely different to our laws down here. It will be interesting to see what the Supreme Court has to say.
I fear it will just be more delays with the same indecisions.

Its not entirely different, some of the words and names are different and juries have the option of a Not Proven verdict, but the substance of the law and particularly on the constitution (or lack of it) are the same.
