If you won a prize for two people to travel on a fortnight's holiday to any destination in the world with all expenses paid.

Where would you choose to go?

Who would you take?
RAACH84  Female  Buckinghamshire 19-Jul-2019 17:23 Message #4745579
I would like to travel through India but away from all the tourists. I would take my best friend as she like travel, culture and trying new foods.

If this prize included me being able to sit in a plane seat for more than a couple of hours, Canada, Alaska, to go whale watching se the northern lights and just the "bigness" of it all, if not then either a trip around Scandinavia, or back to Istanbul and surroundings. I'd probably take my son, as neither of us are morning people and have similar interests and know when its time to just veg out with a book and we both like eating too.

I'm not sure I'd want to spend 2 weeks in the same place.

Like Raach, I'd probably take a tour somewhere and the Indian sub-continent is on my to-go list. I'd like to go back to Iceland or somewhere I could see the Northern Lights as we didn't see them when we went before. I've always been fascinated by deserts, so maybe Egypt or the Sudan would be on the list.

I'm not sure who I would take with me. I'll have to think about that one ...

I would choose Japan. A place I have always wanted to visit but never been yet

Sri Lanka or Malaysia or anywhere in that part of the world. I’d take someone with similar interests. I know a few but not sure which ones would want to come.

It would be nice to go to the top of Everest to have a bit of a look...but I'm too lazy to walk up it, so a helicopter or something would be handy...or thumb a lift...

Self catering at Butlin's in Bognor.

Any lady on here fancy joining me to do the cooking ?.
Greencare  Female  Berkshire 23-Jul-2019 07:43 Message #4745965
I would choose Iceland. It’s somewhere very different to any holiday I have had so far.
badman  Male  Suffolk 23-Jul-2019 09:09 Message #4745968
Australia with Eva Longoria.

Or Jessica Alba.

Or Scarlet Johansson.

Nicole Kidman is already there so maybe a threesome could be on the cards.

Wake up badman. It's just a dream.

I prefer Europe these days and Italy in particular but if it was an all expenses paid trip for a couple of weeks then my first choice would be Japan. I would like to visit and fly a helicopter over the Grand Canyon but not for a whole fortnight.

Where would you choose to go?

For a two week trip I would like to tour Africa but there are very few places in the world which could possibly compete with living in the U.K.

To China or Japan and sample all the street food... or even take my time travelling this country.
