What pong stuff do you like?...

and are there cheap alternatives...that don't melt your skin...

What perfume/eau de toilette/deod etc do you like...

If you like Joop..and I like Joop...then it is quite expensive...

But...I discovered something in one of the pound shops the other day ( poundland, I think), that is called Jape, and smells like Joop...and you'll never guess how much it was...ok, I'll tell you...£1

If it doesn't rip my skin off, it'll be a bargain

If it does rip my skin off...well, I could do with some new skin anyway...

What are your favourites, and cheaper alternatives...?

For me, I like Obsession.
For my man, I like Fahrenheit.
I’m not sure if there are cheaper versions of those, but I do have a spray perfume a lovely friend bought me from Lidl. It’s quite nice but I’m not sure what perfume it is attempting to copy.

I rarely use perfumes, I have one made with natural rose oil which is called Persia, I think and it came from a wholefood shop.

if I can get a bottle somewhere- even the size of an old penny, I have the real parfum called Madame de Carven or the eau de parfum version !
It`s real magic , expensive, but as long as you keep it dark and fairly cool and don`t contaminate the bottle contents with your fingers it will last for years! After more than half a century still my favourite.

OR a less heady smell of eau de toilette Caleche by Hermes .
