When was the last time you had to clean your windscreen of bugs and such creatures?

may 17th, after coming back from holiday.

i had noticed fewer fly splats in recent years so was a little surprised this time, and it wasnt like the weather was particularly hot.

Some good fly spats in the TT races.
On windy days flies are unable to fly, so some days are good for clear windscreens.

I would think some of the lack of splats is due to the lack of summer so far...It's one of those years where we are only a week or so away from the nights drawing in again, and the weather has so far been a washout, especially in recent weeks.

Later on, we will get the real hot stuff, we still have July and August for it to happen, so the splats will be back in force, especially as they will all be thinking they have got away with it this year..

Splattered bugs are worse on my bonnet than my screen.
