I say, 'but you are too far away,'
and he says 'i am eager',
so I send him message saying 'dont be too eager'
hes says.. 'dont be shy, you,re worth waitin for'
so i sent pic...

half hour later (lol) i says 'told ya so'
and he says 'yarrr', and offers me some free advice
of which i refused.

As you, apparently. both live on the same island, it would seem travel would be restricted somewhat.

Islands in the stream..that is what we are..

So sang the great Dolly Parton...and she knows what she's talking about...she once said 'If you want the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain', ...and she also said 'Get a load of these'

There's only 1 Island in Hampshire, as far as I'm aware.
Only 380 sq km, but that's still nearly one and a half times the size of Birmingham, and with a population of only 36k there's plenty of space to not bump into someone, who you may or may not want to bump into.

no, but a haircut might get you a discount...

I actually love the island, but is so expensive to get there now, even as a foot passenger, its ridiculously pricey, unless you go at stupid o clock in the morning and come back on the last ferry mainland bound.
the ferry companies seem have that stretch of the Solent gagged and bound so you have to pay their prices whether you like it or not.
and its a shame. other wise I would be over there more often than I do now, ( about once in a blue moon!)
