Another one gone. I loved those days of the 60s films even those in black and white. Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, A kind of Loving, A taste of Honey, Billy Liar, The L-shaped Room. They had a special something. Maybe the music, never intrusive. And the actors. Albert Finney was typical. Natural.

He was nominated for several oscars but never turned up for the ceremonies and just ignored the invites. He was one of the 'greats' RIP AF.

He was incredible in the movie, Big Fish. (One of my all time favourite movies) … aside from being mesmerizing and riveting in all his other great film roles.

Thank you, Albert Finney. x
