Do you have two left feet?

Have you met anyone with two right feet? Make an interesting dance partner perhaps.

I've just checked mine and there is a large L painted on one and an R on the other so I think they must be a left and a right although you wouldn't think so if you had seen me trying to learn to dance in my youth. I'm a bit better these days but when I was taking my driving test back in the early 70s the tester said "Oh well, so long as you know which side of the road to stick to I guess it's ok" - and passed me!

I've met lots of animals with 2 left feet and 2 right feet.

I wonder whether Simon Smith's Amazing Dancing Bear could dance a pas de deux by itself.

I'm a terrible dancer, I don't know if I've got two left feet or two right ones, they could be on backwards as far as me throwing shapes on the dancefloor. I think there must be a special gene that comes with English ancestry that makes us English rythymically incapable.

If you’re not a good dancer then you need to choose the right music which is easy to move to and enjoyable to listen to.

That would be music to tap your foot to or sway to.

I always went for the last couple of slow dances at the end of the evening when hopefully the poor girl I danced with had enjoyed a few glasses of wine and wouldn't notice me stepping on her feet.

I didn't notice this thread before.

Love dance. Have a few certificates for ballet, which I absolutely adore, and to to regularly at the ROH, until covid arrived. The ROH has The Royal Ballet Co., and they are, without exception, the best ballet company in the world.
