You get an mail saying:
... someones just peeked at your profile
... your profile was read by one of our members
... You're generating interest - your profile was just viewed
Is there any difference between these?
As this is a newbie question, this is with a basic account (that's if there's any difference?)

I wouldn't have thought so. They are just looking.
I have my e mail alerts switched off. I get enough spam without getting spammed by MSE too.
It's only to make you get all excited and hand over the dosh for essentials.

Its time to adjust your settings so that you dont get emailed everytime somebody just looks at ya.
Your email inbox could get blocked up pretty quick knowing how nosy some people on here are. Just cos somebody's looked doesnt mean they fancy you, or your lucks in. More likely to be somebody who recognises you as a newbie, and is simply curious.

Just the way my simple mind works - action gets re-action, not one of several reactions.
To me having one action get one of several reactions, means one of two things, there's a board programmer somewhere; or someone's in marketing trying out a new strategy (don't like being manipulated).
PC - I quite like it at the mo, but was just curious encase it meant something. Only been here a week, so still getting used to things and how they work. I might step-up to essentials, but I can't see it being to cure my paranoia ;-)
LJ - lol! not a problem, and being honest I can't see it ever becoming one :-)

Another newbie question...
Last week i found a good starting page, "Latest Lasses" (imagine there's one for the ladies as well) however, despite looking for it I've not been able to find it since.
Can someone remind me how to find it again?
