Probably sci fi provided it looks half decent.

I tend to be more into biography's and real-life stories these days...

"please give an example of your ideal movie... "

I haven't got an ideal movie.

The type of movie I go and see depends on my mood at the time.

I suppose at the moment I would like to go and see a light hearted comedy.

Hiya,

I love a good horror film, not the blood and gore type . I prefer psychological horrors or thrillers that leave lots to the imagination...

Dumb and Dumber rubbish, minimeee
Catherine Cookson
Bronte
slasher although really liked the early ones of that long series where the folk had to chop their hand off to open the door and the key was in a vat of acid... whatever that was called

The Omen didn't scare me at all .. Now The Exorcist still freaks me out.

I didn't watch it all the way through until I was in my early forties ...and I was on my own ! : ((

Melt, teletubbies are more scary than The Exorcist. I'm too far gone for scares as i'm so very desensitised .. in more ways than one.

it really irritates me when they do really loud noises without any reason... if they cant make you nervous and jumpy then they resort to that...

I saw the uncut version of The Exorcist and it was really disturbing ...

Maybe it's because of all the hype when it came out. Salvation Army outside the cinema, people fainting etc..

I can't think of any recent film that has disturbed me apart from one about the deformed man capturing and murdering victims on the underground ... can't remember the name .
