If your feet are cold in this weather, try wearing under your boots plastic shopping bags on each foot.
It works, mine are toasty warm now. Asda on the left co-op on the right... Could line my hat and gloves too. I could start a fashion chain.
What alternatives do you use to keep warm.

This also works for fashion boots that are not waterproof, keep your feet nice and dry when the snow comes over the top of your boot

I once heard of sex with a carrier bag worn inside something, and it wasn't boots... but might have been Asda. Now that is kinky. Just hope it wasn't a hesian reusable one.
