I always put a kiss at the end of my texts unless it's one to my ex husband.. X.
|
|
|
I have done that to my boss before. He never said anything lol
But yes, I do tend to stick x at the end of texts, force of habit.

I made that mistake when I text a customer recently... Caused two problems:
1) It was a customer
2) Her husband borrowed her phone that day!
:O

Depends who the text is to.. I don't put them on automatically.

My daughter told me it was considered rude to 'full stop' someone in a text...so it's kisses all the way in future for me...xxx

|
|
ooh cheekypixie..i didnt know that...i rarely do the kiss stuff...lol

I have never sent a kiss with a text,...
I have never ,ever sent a text to anyone at all.
|
|
|
not when I send them, NO most definately not.
but I figured out a long toime ago that a large majority of people add them habitually and in reality it meant feck all :(

Sometimes I do but only because the other person does. Then again I forget sometimes and the other person will ask why they didn't get a kiss...

sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
It depends on the text and the person. If you're involved in a conversation with a few texts going to and fro, I don't see the point in putting them at the end of each one. To a friend, I see them as a signal that that's the end of the convo.
If someone's going to get offended just because you've committed the heinous crime of forgetting a x or two, they really do need to step back and learn a sense of proportion.

See I am of the understanding that Kisses are redeemable on the real thing so I never put them on anything unless that person is a close family or a lover.
|
|
|
Always put kisses. But I only ever text people I care about. I do put more or fewer kisses depending on who though.

Orson would not presume to send kisses to someone he has not been formally introduced to. How forward and a trifle vulgar, Orson thinks.
Orson.

I consider carefully where to place my kisses (-:

I've never owned a mobile phone in my life so can't comment...

Yes so need to be ever so careful when responding to work related texts lol. :))xx

I'm one of those strange people who uses a phone to talk to people. If someone texts me I generally just call them back (unless it's something not requiring a response).
If I do text, it usually ends up that garbled with the predictive text, (plus not having reading glasses on) that an x at the end could confuse the poor recipient even more!

Ps. I dont know what all the :)) type of endings indicate (if anything).

I never text, as sooner speak. Hate texting.

Noticed most women tend to sign-off with kisses.
Don't know any men who do.
I've started included a, less gender sensitive, smilie when replying to family and friends who close with kisses.
