It all depends on the tattoo and where it is.
The only one I have ever seen that looked good (if that is the word) was a cartton of a baby sat in a nappy crying. It was fun and on her bum and suited the persons personality (she was fun, wild and a lively lady). None of the others I have seen do anything for me, More importantly I don't think they work as a decoration if you understand what I mean.

mine was not done for anyone else but me :-) it is a small black bow on the inside of my left wrist, it was done in memory of my late brother and conveniently covers a scar left by surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome :-)

I think your distaste is a generational thing. When I grew up (I'm 51 btw) tattoos were not 'the done thing' for nice women. However, these days it's accepted as the norm. I shared your prejudice at one time, but a few years back, bit I dated a lady with quite prominent tattos on her arms and a small one on her boob and ankle. We met online and had been chatting a while before she metioned one day that she was "getting another tattoo". I was never keen on the tattoos but she was lovely and the tattoos came with the package so I didn't worry about them. We had a very happy time - tattoos and all. I guess my message is that learning to be a bit less judgemental makes you happier and enriches your life.

..Well Iv been into Tattoo shop 2day..to view designs..and they are fully booked 4 appts until June!! So Ive decided Im gonna do a fast track course, as its obviously the business to be in!! :0)
