Best airline yet. Almost all of it's seating is like first class, and attendants are the same, unlike some airlines that I fail to mention but start with British? whom I avoid at all costs.

Surely British Airways can't be as bad as Ryan Air ?

Much prefer Yorkshire Airlines!

Hi dpk
I have flown Emirates frequently over the last year and found them to be first rate in all departments.
Only upgraded to business class once - VERY comfortable!
Food is always good.
That said - if they fly to your desired destination, it would be worth flying Qatar Air - they are competing fiercely on Middle East routes, trying to provide better service and food at a lower cost than Emirates. I've done a dozen flights with Qatar Air over the last year, and think that their food has the edge on Emirates.
Both airlines have staff who are trained well - both in the air and on the ground.

Depends where you are flying to. I can highly recommend Ethiad. An Arabian Prince has invested oodles of dosh cos he wants to outdo Emirates :-)
Truly was one of the best flights I have taken and that was in 'cattle truck'. Multi choice of entertainment, free bar, 5 course meal with porcelain crockery and metal cutlery, ice creams at what they considered movie time, (we chose our own programmes, music, games during the flight) and afternoon tea was served too.

Flown both Emirates and Qatar a number of times, as I always go to Nepal or India via the middle east.
I really liked Emirates and they had the most leg room and spacious seats. Qatar are OK and more or less on a par.
Not sure that I would ever describe any airline food as "food", as such. It fills a gap. And the last thing that you want after 2 weeks in India is a dodgy airline curry, which seems to be very popular with the middle eastern arilines. natch.
Anyway, I nearly always choose to fly the redeye, so I'm usually oblivious, if I can get comfortable enough to sleep.
