Hello,this is my first attempt at joining a dating site nothing ventured nothing gained. I am divorced and have been on my own for a few years now, I have four children all grown with families of their own now. I am quite an average,person. A good personality with a sense of humour, some say weird cos I laugh at the wrong things. Clean and tidy, I can scrub up well. I am a romantic, love sunsets, watching happy films, children and dogs. I like strolling in the countryside and at the coast, I am pretty fit for my age. I love to dance, Sequence, and I am learning ballroom again, but its difficult with no regular partner I like cooking but couldnt bake a cake to save my life. I enjoy the theatre and shows, I like most types of music and love attending concerts.Walking round old houses and castles. I like the simple things in life, prefer fish and chips to a posh dinner but know how to use a knife and fork.
I have no set criteria. As long as we have something in common and can hold an intellegent conversation. I prefer the 65 to 70 plus age group but I am not rigid about that as far as friendship is concerned. Of course I would love to meet my soulmate, but will settle for friendship at first and see what happens after that. Sometimes its hard being alone, but scary taking this route to meet someone. I would prefer a local, well nearly local lad as I dont drive.
