Hiya 48 year old singleton that's been seperated for 6 years with a son (24) who's totally independant and has left home. Currently working nights in international mail/cargo at Heathrow it's not a bad job (I've been there 22 years) the commute is better on nights and I do get every weekend off YAY!

What am I looking for? Someone to get know and to eventually grow old with to be honest, hopefully into some of the music or films I'm into.Maybe someone who I have nothing in common with but we hit it off....

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Cooking isn't a chore for me, would like to be able to do a Chinese though, Indian, Italian and good old British grub for cold Winters evenings
Shopping	Food shopping has to be done so you don't get substituted stuff when they've run out of the things you want. Everything else internet!
DIY	Not bad with paint brush or shelves but I've never had a'big' project to do wherever I've lived
Housework	Easy Peasy! Hoover everything and use polish on other things! Hardest bits mopping up round the dogs water bowl and cleaning the fish tank
Dining out	Love to but there is a limit to the usual so I'd like to find a decent Middle Eastern restaurant
Movies	It's got to be something really good for me to go as I tend to go for Horrors/Sci-Fi stuff..
Theatre	Haven't been for years not missing it
Music	Rock, Blues, Folk, Country, Classical not into reggae or soul
Gigs	Live music dingy dive bar, the O2 or festivals can't keep me away
Pubs	Only for live music dinners or lunches
Clubbing	Only for Rock or comedy nights
Newspapers and magazines	Occassionally buy Classic Rock magazine
Books	Not a great reader at the mo but when I do I turn into a bookworm waiting to get the bug. I've got 6 Flashman novels to start but i Also re-read a lot 1984 is a prime example
TV	Only to catch up with the news or a film.
Watching sport	Big games.
Playing sport	Want to take up Golf
Hobbies	I collect dust in a Hoover in my spare time
