I have been a bit of a UK nomad over the years living in a number of different areas and having gone to both a local university and one over in Wales. I am recently finished my latest degree course and I am not ruling out future study. I really enjoy learning new facts and skills in many areas of interest. I enjoy many sports and like to be active and busy; that said I also enjoy reading with a good coffee and watching films.
I am a self-taught amateur photographer and love working my pictures into a variety of media; I can spend hours out taking pictures, mainly nature based but I am working on improving my portrait photography. Most crafts interest me and I will try my hand at most, although my attempt at pottery was a pretty spectacular disaster. I have two young Jack Russell/Pug crosses which I take out for long walks as often as possible, it's great to see them enjoying different terrains and textures. They enjoy running circles around me when we are out and when 'helping' me with the gardening. I set up my garden with a view to growing my own food, this was only slightly successful on my first attempt and has had to be rethought now that the dogs rule the back garden.
I have moved around quite a bit in the last decade since school and have lost touch with a lot of people along the way. It would be nice now that I am back living in Northern Ireland for good to meet a few more like-minded people in the area, to go to classes with, do sport or activities with, or just have a coffee and a good chat. It would be an additional bonus to possibly get back in touch with a few people that I used to know.
