About me
MARRIED - oh yes I am! I'm not even that smug either but can understand your disappointment at my unavailability...lol! This is a friendship site too you know! However, I don't bite (honestly) so don't be shy you can say hi!
What do I do? I work for a national award winning RSL/Charity across Derby, Leicester and South Staffordshire. Hence, I have my fair share of travelling! I'm very committed and generally enjoy the job I do despite the stress at times. Did I mention all the extra hours I work and do not get paid for? Yes I am blonde!! :0)
Where do I live? In a brewing town which is no longer Bass'! My home is not my castle it's a continual work in progress and no doubt always will be. I'm not particularly house proud either. I like to live life and enjoy the company of others so the duster has to take second place!! Can you write your name in the dust on your fireplace...lol?!
What are my interests? My music tastes varies from one end of the scale to the other although I do favour rock/blues type bands. I do occasionally grace the clubs with my presence and enjoy going to see gigs/live music, going to the theatre and watching films (cinema or home). I like to eat out from a cafe for lunch to a good restaurant for a special occasion or a quiet country pub. I enjoy meeting up with people, retail therapy, gardening/garden centres (spring/summer only!), walking when I have the time/opportunity, going to the gym (although I wouldn't say I actually enjoy it but go for obvious reasons!), visiting places of historic interest, cooking and baking - time permitting all of the above!
I'm a non-smoker, warped sense of humour (no it's not always obvious from what I write!), easy to get on with, non-religious and like to enjoy life. I like to take care of my appearance and fit somewhere in the region of Mad Hatter, Dolly Parton, one tatoo and me (work that out for yourself)!
I do have a serious side though and enjoy good conversation and always partial to a good debate if not 'too deep'. I do have to be serious at work you know! I also like my independence and a life of my own outside of family and work commitments. Yes, that means I'm human and like to 'let my hair down' too!!
About you
I am looking, particularly, for female friends (married/attached or single) but men who know the boundaries are welcome too, to widen my social circle and meet up with regularly. (I am not looking for dating/romance or an extra marital - one man is plenty for me!)
