According to my friends, I'm independent, interesting, and different - people say they broke the mould after me! Maybe that scares people off. It shouldn't, because actually I'm easy-going, friendly, quite attractive (I'm told)young for my age, and lots of fun to be with - at least, I hope so! I'm also independent, intelligent, and I don't suffer fools gladly. I also don't really understand this dating thing and traditional male/female roles; I'm just me; I don't play games, what you see is what you get. Oh, and that means I'm not into cooking or ironing shirts.

I work as a part-time helicopter instructor, and I'm a researcher/writer too, since my flying work is weather dependent and seasonal. Flying is something of an addiction with me; I fly fixed wing aircraft as well, now and then! When I'm not doing that I enjoy eating out (vegetarian), travelling to far-flung interesting places, doing yoga, dancing, and relaxing with my six cats.

Interesting, intelligent, lively and ready to try anything. Young at heart. He wouldn't be expecting me to behave like a traditional female - because I don't know how! I don't care about age or looks (within reason); I'm looking for a friend, or hopefully, a soulmate - still an incurable romantic despite years of disappointment.
