whackywoman (50) from Northamptonshire

I am an outgoing bubbly short blue eyed brunette living in the east midlands (northants). Physically I am uk size 18 cross between dawn french and Barbara Windsor, I have the singing voice of Hilda Ogden and I am the proud owner of a 18hr figure (if you know the ad that comes from then you are the right age group for me) and a strong independent streak. So I am not the gal for fans of streamlined gals. As a bit of a workaholic who loves her job it is time I did something else and got myself a life outside of the office.

I love to travel when possible and I've many places still left to visit. I have worked out how to work the recording thingy that gathers dust under the tv so though I love my soaps and CSI, the goggle box does not rule my life. Other interests incl. film, theatre, reading (horror and murder mysteries are my favorites) and shouting at the tv. Have been known to cause a tidal wave and have a swim or scare the locals and ride my pushbike. Not obsessive about anything but do not disturb me when John Travolta is on or Will Young is singing, or when on the golf range Ambitions to name the lost tribe living in my garden and to escape these shores by 50. Not a sports fan but I do support Crystal Palace so least said the better and I do watch snooker when Steve Davies is playing, not that I understand the offside rule nor the points of a green ball. I love theme parks and enjoy a day out to them when the schools are open so can behave like a child myself but equally happy on a stroll and picnic in the countryside with a preference for sunshine over snow.

Have tried gliding and loved it, white water rafting again brilliant - tried learning to ski at an indoor centre and came to the conclusion that I may come with my own padding but still do not like falling over on cold stuff and have a bad centre of balance for such sports. My curves prevented me from seeing the ball in golf though has not stopped me taking it up and getting hooked in the last few weeks and as for tennis and squash, the beetroot colour of my face does not go well with the blonde hair d0 think I would look good as a brunette?.

As the owner of two adopted collie cross dogs it is prolly a good idea you like dogs too and should I ever invite you to chez moi I will forwarn you of the laidies (the dogs) characters and arm you with bribes to get past the front door.
