Hello – I am a vivacious woman who fully believes that the 50s are the new 40s! I rent a very tiny cowshed in the Fens and enjoy my life in a lovely part of the world with its wide horizons and endless views. I live a simple life mainly free of stress. Friends say I am a free spirit! I love building sandcastles and flying kites and keep a bucket and spade and a kite in the boot of my car! I have an easy sense of humour and love to laugh and smile. I enjoy walks in the country...especially by water, theatre, visiting markets, antique and craft fairs. When driving I listen to Classic FM...in the cowshed it is more likely to be me Black Sabbath or the Moody Blues on Vinyl! I love the real oldies from the Platters and Buddy Holly as well and big band stuff from the 40s! I am intelligent, creative, wild, cuddly, tactile, caring, faithful, spiritual, stubborn, mad, daft and occasionally sensible.... A devoted friend and a passionate companion. Friends say I am funky, wacky, full of fun, interesting with a great sense of humour. I have such good friends...smiles. I lived in the USA for three years in the early 80s...have driven coast to coast there...have no wish to return (even for holiday) and would much prefer to see more of this wonderful country of my birth...the UK. I am rarely seen in trousers (always wear skirts)...well except when cutting wood for the wood burner. So feminine but very practical where DIY is concerned as I can set my mind to most things. Some say I am a bit eccentric... I have a lot of caring in my heart to give the right guy.
I am looking for someone to light up my life who when he puts his arms round me makes me feel warm inside.
I would like someone to walk and talk with, someone to smile with, someone to giggle with, someone to meander through life with. I am looking for a friend, companion, lover and confidant. Someone who is looking for peace and simplicity in their life...but can also show their wild side! An eccentric oddball maybe! Someone I can care about and care for!
