I am known for my off the cuff sense of humour, and a guy that likes to laugh and smile each day, after all To give a smile costs nothing, therefore I believe we should all smile often. Am finding that women don't like a romantic sincere guy, who prefers to treat others as I expect myself. Am easy to get on with and liked by a great many, well they invite me to functions, so that should say something.

OK, so I'm over 21 ! (that was a long time ago!), but I'm certainly not ready for my old pension, as there is so much in life to enjoy !

Am NOT a couch potato, but am a get up and do sort of guy.

Before you jump to conclusions of your own with the following, I must state that I'm not in need of a carer, but would care for them instead.

I am in an electric powerchair and occasionally use my manual chair for keepng myself fit, don't need help, as can do just about anything anyone else can do. The reason is that in truth there isn't anything wrong with me physically, I simply suffer with permanent vertigo when I stand, from the loss of brain cells that handle balance from the inner ear, which he doctors state that I have Multiple Sclerosis, but not as severe as many others and you wouldn't realise if you met me.

Who falls over in the ice and snow - I don't
Always have the best seat in the house - I do !
Who has reserved parking near the front door - I do !
Heavy shopping no problem !
Long queues - no problem
My shoes last forever !
Tired legs - mine are never tired !
I have a large powerful 4x4 - What is the road Tax cost?, none for mine !

Where there are negatives, there are always positives - FACT

Was asked to be the godfather to the brother of my existing godson by his brother and sister in later 2009, who told me that they always dreamed of of me being their godfather and I have agreed.

They told me, that even at their present ages of 25 & 27 years, their godfathers have never bothered with them, unlike my godfather role to their brother.

Was asked by them when they were both in their younger years, but thought that they ought to give their godfather a chance. So now they say that they have sacked theirs from the responsbility and gained a real godfather that always has their best interests at heart.

Their parents said that everyone regards me as the perfect godfather, including their friends.

So now you see from the above that I'm quite well liked and an honest guy, who is now honoured and pleased to be their chosen godfather !

I DO have a son and daughter, but they left home years ago, to make their own way in life and be with their respective partners.

Would like a woman that likes to smile and laugh often.

QUESTION 1:
I believe that women don't get older, they just get wiser. Do you agree with this?

QUESTION 2:
From my past experience I've found that women don't like courteous, sincere, faithful, romantic traits in a guy, as these traits are part of my personality. So do you mind a guy having these traits?

Have NEVER CHEATED on a partner, nor am I married or in a relationship presently either, as if I were, then I wouldn't be on this site.

Never say you Love another if you really don't care
Never talk about feelings if they aren't really there
Never hold their hand if you intend to walk away
Never say you're there for them when you're gone the very next day
Never look into their eyes if all you do is lie
Never say forever unless when you know you will deny
Even though there maybe miles between us, we're never far apart, as there is no distance, place or lapse of time can lessen the bond of those who are truely meant to be.

When I wrote the above, it wasn't intended to be a poem, it just turned out that way, so have now realised that I have a poetic side !
