Hi all - how you doing?! (c:

Okay to cut a (very) long story short(ish):
I've done quite a bit in my life - various jobs, various relationship disasters when younger, been married, am divorced, backpacked and worked in a few places around the world, spent a lot of this time under the influence of alcohol, had lots of friends, lost (or in the most recent cases, got rid of) lots of friends, had 'a bit of a breakdown', cleaned myself up, navel gazed for quite some time, killed most of my demons, sat down in front of a computer and joined Midsummer's Eve! etc. (c:

I am total vegetarian/vegan and very much into animal rights.
I've finally got a job where I don't dread going every day (administration - YAY! (c:) - this doesn't mean I'm not always on the lookout for something better paid with shorter hours!
I love films and going to the cinema, no particular genre - though my favourite film ever is, sadly, Titanic.
I love music, again most types - though I do lean towards punky (MCR, Greenday etc.)and away from music to fall asleep to (Katie Melua(sp?)).
I love to read and my favourite book of all time is Catch 22. Unfortunately the only thing I'm reading right now is the driving theory and highway code book - finally learning to drive! Oh and Heat. LOL!
I'm waffling aren't I?! I also seem to, 'love', a few things!

Anyway, to round it up. As you may have gathered from above I've cleared out my life, done a lot of thinking, and now I'm looking to start afresh - new everything.

What I'm up to now:
Have entered the scary world of grown adult driving lessons - as mentioned above *wibble*.

Constantly sitting on trains it seems - hence the driving lessons.
 

Looking for new friends - female and male. Not just to go out to pubs/clubs (though they are good!), but also meals out/coffee/just having a chit-chat. Of course I cannot demand that everybody is veggie (though if you are please do get in touch!), but it would be nice that if you aren't you do have empathy with people that are (even better if you were open minded enough to become veggie around me if I cooked all the food when you were in my company!).
