Hi,
A little about myself....I like to think I am a cheery person with a good attitude to life.. I am gentle, thoughtful...have passion and fire..and can do a lot of my own diy !! Oh and have a wicked sense of humour..I love to laugh!!
Have learned a lot to get this far and would like to learn more and experience some of the good things in life, like companionship, honesty, true love.... Cannot reply to any messages as yet ..Would love to meet a genuine someone to have good company and fun to begin with, someone not in a huge rush (unless there is a passionate spark straight away for both of us!! ;-)),i use the all famous contact friends f b method with my name here and my nickname beth and lastly paterson as in the shortbread lol would love someone who likes to take time to get to know you a little before rushing in feet first then running away.
I have been entirely on my own for over 2 years now and feel its time for me to stop hiding away and get on with my life.. I am independant and my children are my life...though now there is room also for a special person.
I have a daughter coming 32 yrs and she and her husband have given me 2 beautiful grandchildren, 1 of each. I also have a Son at home coming 14 yrs. I rent my home and love it here. I was lucky to be allocated a new build back in my home village. It is a wee quiet sleepy fishing village and it is beautiful. I am a country girl at heart... its the way I was brought up... I dislike living in any built up cement cities... I am fortunate at the moment to be able to put my hand through my garden fence and touch the new lambs that play in the field behind me :-).. its the simple things in life that make me smile... and thoughtful people. I have pets... A parakeet called Jak.. a lhasa Apso called Dougal...and a part persian madam of a kitten called bluebell :-).... I am not 'well off' , but I am NOT looking for a sugar daddy either.. I have managed to get by on my own( do I call them that at my age?? lol) I'm not here to look for a gent to support me but rather to find that special someone that might make me feel in love, to give my love to and be loved for who I am...If you are a controlling, overly jealous and arrogant..then I am not for you...I can carry on a conversation with the best of them but I will always be loyal and faithfull as I would expect my love to be to me...
Well, as for dreading this part, I seem to have gone on a bit so if you need to know anything more.. just ask :-)..If I'm not for you then I wish you luck in finding your true love and thank you for popping in :-) x

I would love to meet someone that I could just be myself with. Didnt have to put on airs and graces when I am around and someone who is dependable, loving and honest and not scared of showing it!
What I would like to get out of this site?? Find someone who can give me back the confidence that I have lost and love me for who I am now :-)
