About me

I’ve managed to cope with 52 years on this planet.

Single for the first time in 24 years.
No debt, no children, and any baggage has been consigned to history.

I have lived long enough to know what is important and am eager to share what lies ahead.

I’m thoughtful and considerate and try to lead a life that considers others. In saying that I can generally find humour in most situations . I’m patient, honest ,and focussed.

I believe life is for living. I love to visit old NT/English Heritage houses, gardens, castles, ancient sites and quite often go away for weekends to visit such places. There’s so much to see and do in this country.

I’m interested in many different things- I like music from Vivaldi to Led Zepp., photography, and
Reading. I’m ‘forced’ to like gardening but that’s no real hardship. I love (and miss) going out with someone and having a good meal at restaurant’s and sharing a bottle of wine with good conversation.

About you

I’m looking to meet new friends but I suppose ideally a soul mate- someone you just ‘click’ with where conversation is easy and silences are ok too. You will be reasonably intelligent, sociable and confident woman, with a mind that is still curious and forever hopeful. Someone who is fun to be with and can make me laugh at myself and the world. Ideally she’ll share some of my interests but it would be good to discover new ones. Sharing different things keeps life interesting !

I would be willing to travel to meet the right person as you can’t guarantee finding that special person on your doorstep !
