Yet another year older! and wiser?-who knows?! The photo is still a reasonable likeness of me after another year has flown past.

Anyway, not the usual type as seen on some of these websites, avoiding the usual cliches of 'my friends describe me as this..., or say that about me...', glass empty/full attitudes, looking for extreme optimism, extreme sports participation, trying to prove myself, etc.etc.!!! as normally seen in dating profiles. I'm just a down to earth, don't have much to prove, honest and open, tactile and enjoys giving massages, practical, creative, intelligent and attractive (so some say!) man, with dry sense of humour.
To save any misunderstandings, I'm not interested in being a father figure, having kids, or being part of a family - I hope I've made it clear now!!

To continue on, I am a quite well travelled, now ex. aviation professional that has changed direction in life and (I think?!) has escaped from the 'rat race', financially independent with many interests, such as art, theatre and cooking, also an avid Radio 4 listener and easy going with alternative outlook on life. Try to pursue things that I enjoy, having fun and make the best of life and take each day as it comes. Have done all that long haul travel stuff in the past, and now more concerned with the environment and travelling and visiting more local destinations.

Not very interested in football and most sports, though can tolerate watching some tennis at times. I prefer keeping fit cycling, walking, enjoying countryside and coastal walks, and spending time exploring London and art galleries/museums. Also find a bit of time to mess around with boats and do a bit of rowing/canoeing. Preferably at least 5ft 6ins. tall with long hair, non smoker, aged from mid 30's to 40's, with no kids or intention of having them, reasonably attractive, with a few brain cells left ! Also getting fed up trawling through dating websites looking for Mr.right!

Intelligent, also creative and interested in the world around, and shares some similar interests with me. Looks after her health and appearance, open and honest and could be a best friend to share what the future has to hold in a long term relationship. I don't require proof of any extreme activities/pursuits or optimism to attract me!
