Me - I am in my early to mid forties but feel as if I should be younger.

I am a bit 'cuddly' at the moment but I am loosing weight by the week as I am into healthy eating. Having said that I do like to socialise with friends at a pub quiz every Tuesday and on Friday night - though there are more shandys than proper pints these days!

I love walking and do so at every opportunity - I like walking in London but particularly in the country and seaside. Day trips to the sea (particularly Hastings) are a favourite of mine.

I have an enquiring mind and love to find about about new things and people.

My musical tastes are quite eclectic but reflect my age with a love of 80s sounds (the Smiths, Bunnymen etc) but I keep up with the times and my CD collection (yes I still have them despite having an MP3 player) is not gathering dust.

I love films - I like directors like Mike Leigh, intelligent comedies and dramas (my favourite film this year so far was 'No Country for Old Men').

I also watch too much TV than is good for me and I have a love of modern comedies such as 'Peep Show', 'Gavin & Stacey', 'QI', 'The Mighty Boosh' and others. I listen to the radio a lot and am an avid Radio 4 listener. The only other station I listen to is BBC 6 Music as it reflects my tastes.

My work - I work as a library and information professional in a specialist business library, helping the public and conduction workshops and advice sessions.

I have a little flat on a Victorian estate in North London, which is very nice. 

I am looking for a woman between about 30 and 42. I don't have a particular 'type' but a sense of humour is a plus, down to earth and maybe an 'outdoorsy' type for lots of walks - but I am quite open to suggestions. Maybe someone who has her own interests and wants to share them and learn about someone elses.

I am looking for 'Ms Right' as I want to settle down, so maybe someone who has reached that stage in her life as well. I love kids and it would be great if you wanted to have children in the future too.
