I've worked in my present job as a Computer Programmer at a Further Education college for the past 20 years.

I'm a big movie fan and enjoy seeing all the latest releases at the cinema. I'll watch pretty much any sort of film, although I do have a soft spot for romantic comedies, with 50 First Dates and Some Like It Hot being two of my favourites.

I also enjoy Science Fiction and Fantasy television, and have an offbeat sense of humour.

I'm an avid reader, and have lots of books on my bookshelves yet to work my way through! I like crime fiction, the paranormal and science fiction.

Musically I have quite a wide taste, and enjoy listening to everything from Nightwish to Mika, with lots in between.

I like the theatre (musicals are my favourite), and I visit the gym twice a week.

I enjoy sightseeing holidays both in this country and abroad, and I've travelled quite a bit around America and Italy.

In the past year I've taken up rambling and go out walking every fortnight with my local group.

I'm looking for a lady from 35-48 or so, who's single, with no children. Looks aren't that important to me (unless you look like the Wicked Witch of the West!). Somebody who is intelligent, fun and romantic (don't want much, do I!).
